As a Security Guard - Weekend Mornings in Independence, KY, you will protect clients, deliver excellent customer service, and perform routine patrols. This is a Part-Time role with Sat and Sun shifts (05:00 AM–01:00 PM). Build your schedule using our Claim a Shift platform and explore new roles while contributing to a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.

• Conduct regular and random patrols of the location and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report observations to appropriate personnel.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at an educational location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, report observations, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business location, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
