Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Hawthorne, CA. You will monitor assigned areas, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence at an automotive location.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers at an automotive manufacturing and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required incident documentation.
• Support a professional, orderly work environment by providing directions, reporting maintenance or access-control concerns, and communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:
