You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to passengers, employees, and visitors. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $29.93 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM; Thu 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Sat 02:00 PM - 12:00 AM.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe public areas for unusual conditions, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns; report observations through established channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public agencies as appropriate.
• Document daily activities, patrol findings, incidents, and other security-related events in clear and accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
