Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• Valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor and document access activity, visitor and contractor arrivals, and unusual conditions; complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
• Assist with enforcement of property rules, parking procedures, and access-control requirements with a courteous presence.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs while reflecting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.85 / Hour

Job Schedule: Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor and document access activity, visitor and contractor arrivals, and unusual conditions; complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
• Assist with the enforcement of property rules, parking procedures, and access-control requirements while maintaining a courteous, professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
