Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Culver City, CA. You will provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors and employees while patrolling and enforcing site policies in a dynamic mall environment.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents calmly, conducting regular unarmed patrols of common areas, monitoring access points, and guiding visitors to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Direct visitors, provide wayfinding, and foster a welcoming environment.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of mall common areas, retail corridors, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns, and communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Assist with directing visitors, providing wayfinding information, and supporting a welcoming environment throughout the location.
