Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with hotel personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of guest areas, lobbies, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist with guest, vendor, and contractor access.
• Document incidents and daily activities and report concerns to site leadership.

Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while communicating with appropriate hotel personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, lobbies, corridors, parking facilities, entrances, and the surrounding property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, vendor, and contractor access in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and report security-related concerns to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Two or more years of security-related experience are required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
