Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Guard in Deer Park, TX to patrol a chemical/petrochemical site and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a TSA TWIC, with responsibilities including access control, patrols, and incident reporting.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
