Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by executing site-specific security procedures and access policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify access, maintain visitor logs, and direct individuals according to shelter procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify site personnel or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to identify access concerns, hazards, or unusual activity.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and access-related reports per Allied Universal procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor logs, and direct individuals according to shelter location procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify and report access concerns, hazards, or unusual activity.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and access-related reports in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
