Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, maintain logs, and report access-control concerns per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and report observations to site contacts and leadership.
• Complete required reports and documentation, maintain a professional presence, and protect sensitive technology assets and operations.

As a Security Guard Part Time Patrol Reporting in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting security-related operations. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, maintain accurate logs, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations promptly to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete required reports and documentation, maintain a professional presence, and support the protection of sensitive technology assets and operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
