Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in West Mifflin, PA to provide dependable, flexible hours and to join a leading security and facility services team.

Fixed shifts are offered with an option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform, enabling you to increase earnings and build experience across multiple sites while maintaining income stability.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to store customers, visitors, and associates following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly and escalate as needed according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the retail location including floors, entrances, parking, receiving areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity or hazards to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support access control and assist with traffic flow and incident documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support access control and assist with traffic flow, customer service needs, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour - VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIRED 1+ YEAR WITH CLEAN DRIVING RECORD

Job Schedule:

• Mon 09:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sat 09:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 09:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
