A valid driver's license is required to fulfill driving duties and reliability is essential. The role offers flexible scheduling with day and night shifts; compensation is $25.76 per hour, and workers can use the AU platform to claim additional shifts.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

What You\'ll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, patient care areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and reporting of unusual activity to appropriate site personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
  

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
