Allied Universal in Florence, NJ is seeking a part-time Security Guard Patrol Access Control at a technology-focused location. The role emphasizes customer service, incident response, and strict access control procedures.

You will conduct patrols, monitor entry points, and assist with badge-related activities while maintaining a visible security presence. This position offers weekend night hours and opportunities to grow within a leader in security services.

Qualifications

• A valid guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to report unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with entry authorization and directing visitors appropriately.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:
