Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security services provider, is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Guard in Fairfield, OH. You will patrol, monitor access, and deliver professional customer service at client sites.

The role requires at least 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Flexible shifts, ongoing training, and opportunities to grow within the company are available.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at utility and financial institution locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and document observations, incidents, and patrol activities in accordance with site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns and incidents.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Must have 1+ years Security experience

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 01:00 AM - 05:00 AM
• Sat: 04:30 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
