You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and support access control activities. Pay Rate: $22.66 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
