You will protect clients across healthcare and other settings while delivering professional customer service and maintaining a visible security presence.

• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies, seeking additional support when needed.
• Document observations and incidents accurately and communicate with site contacts and leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare and public health facility areas, surrounding grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, check credentials as required, and direct visitors to appropriate locations in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, requesting additional support when needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security professional license is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
