Allied Universal in Dallas, TX seeks a Part Time Access Control Security Guard to monitor entry points, verify visitor and employee credentials, and maintain a visible security presence at a busy logistics location.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, following site procedures, reporting access discrepancies, and supporting a secure environment. Pay rate is $16.50 per hour with a rotating day/evening schedule.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted pursuant to federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
