As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare location, including business areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter, while reporting unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
