Job summary

St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham, MA is seeking a Security Guard to protect residents and property.

The role includes scheduled shifts (Wed 7am-3pm; Thu 6:30pm-2:30am; Fri 6:30am-2:30pm) with compensation of $15 per hour plus a $1 overnight shift differential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong observation, emergency response, and time-management skills, and will help maintain calm during emergencies while ensuring secure access for authorized personnel and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Protect St. Patrick's Manor against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry.
• Periodically patrol building and grounds and report irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked.
• Permit authorized personnel and visitors to enter premises.
• Respond to any alarm in the building and call police or fire department.
• Open door for ambulance or other expected service vehicle entering the building.
• Help maintain organization and calm during emergency situations.

AFaith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1960. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents.

We are seeking to fill the position of Security Guard:

• Wednesday: 7am to 3pm; Thursday: 6:30pm to 2:30am and Friday: 6:30am to 2:30pm.
• $15 per hour plus $1 Shift Differential on the overnight shift.
