As a Security Officer Full Time Access Coordinator in Plainfield, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, and supporting site procedures. You will use computer or tablet systems to document activity, communicate with visitors and team members, and provide exceptional customer service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.73 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM


• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM


• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM


• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.


• Monitor and control access at entry points, verify credentials and delivery documentation, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle records.


• Screen incoming and outgoing trucks, trailers, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, reporting irregularities to appropriate site contacts.


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations, activities, and incidents in required reports.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
