Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Access Control Driver in Saint Pauls, NC to safeguard clients across industries. You will monitor entry points, manage badge access, respond to alarms, and patrol the site while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access to the location by verifying identification, reviewing visitor and contractor authorizations, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Monitor access points, gates, and delivery areas; screen incoming vehicles and personnel in accordance with site requirements and food production protocols.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, manage badge access, respond to alarm-related activity, and conduct routine patrols to help maintain a secure environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license.
