Job Summary

The Security Guard role involves protecting the property, employees, and customers of Atlantis Management Group by monitoring the site for safety hazards, loss prevention, property damage, or physical danger. Responsibilities include deterring shoplifters and loiterers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor assigned areas; report suspicious activities to authorities.
• Monitor surveillance cameras, inspect property, and oversee crowds.
• Contact law enforcement or fire department during emergencies.
• After hours, check doors, windows, and gates to ensure security.
• Investigate reports of suspicious activity.
• Detain suspected individuals until law enforcement arrives.
• Escort discharged staff, trespassers, and unwelcome parties off premises.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Handle situations efficiently and effectively.
• Respond to assistance requests.
• Write timely and accurate reports on incidents and hazards.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to learn property layout.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid State Security Guard License.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
