Job summary

Coastal International Security, Inc. seeks a part-time Security Officer for a confidential luxury fashion boutique in Tribeca, Manhattan.

You will project a calm, authoritative presence, greet guests, and manage crowd flow while maintaining discretion and guest privacy in a high-end environment. Candidates should have experience in luxury retail or concierge-style security, with a valid New York State Security Guard License.

Qualifications

URGENTLY HIRING

• Weekends only | Sat-Sun, 12:00PM-7:30PM | $26.50-Pay Increase to $28 per hour after 90 days.

About This Role

We’re looking for a security officer who brings both professionalism and presence to a confidential luxury fashion boutique in Tribeca, Lower Manhattan. This isn’t a static post - you’ll be the first face guests encounter and the calm authority in the room when things get busy. Crowd control and guest flow management are core parts of this role, and the ability to handle high-traffic situations confidently and calmly is a must.

You’ll work alongside a close‑knit team in a curated, client‑facing environment where discretion, judgment, and presence matter just as much as your credentials. We’re looking for candidates with prior experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or concierge‑style security. What You’ll Do

• Identify and de‑escalate disruptive or suspicious behavior with calm, direct communication
• Communicate clearly with store leadership regarding incidents or operational concerns
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding clientele and store operations
• Complete incident reports and documentation when required
• Represent the boutique's standard of professionalism in every interaction - appearance and conduct included

What We’re Looking For

• Valid New York State Security Guard License - required before your first day
• Background in law enforcement, military, corrections, security, or similar roles - preferred
• Experience in luxury retail, hospitality, concierge‑style security, or other guest‑facing environments - a strong plus
• Sharp situational awareness and sound judgment under pressure
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills - you interact with high‑end clientele daily
• Professional demeanor, polished appearance, and strict discretion at all times
• Ability to stand for extended periods and remain alert throughout the shift
• Reliable transportation and a consistent track record of showing up on time
• Availability for weekend scheduling and on‑call assignments

Compensation & Benefits
