Job summary

Coastal International Security, Inc. is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a confidential luxury fashion boutique in Tribeca, Manhattan. You will greet guests, maintain a calm, secure environment, and manage crowd flow during busy periods.

Applicants must hold a New York State Security Guard License; luxury retail security experience is a strong plus. Weekend shifts (Sat-Sun, 12:00 PM–7:30 PM) with a starting pay of $26.50/hour, increasing to $28/hour after 90 days, are offered.

Qualifications

• New York State Security Guard License required before first day.
• Experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or concierge-style security is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional, visible presence in the boutique.
• Monitor activity and guest movement with situational awareness.
• Manage guest flow during busy periods, weekends, and activations.
• Identify and de-escalate disruptive or suspicious behavior with calm communication.
• Communicate incidents or concerns to store leadership.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding clientele and operations.
• Complete incident reports when required.
• Uphold the boutique's standards of professionalism in all interactions.
