Job summary

In-N-Out Burger is seeking a full-time unarmed Security Guard for our Colorado Springs, CO facility and warehouse. You will help maintain safety, greet visitors, and monitor entry points while ensuring a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities include patrols, monitoring cameras, responding to incidents, and coordinating with local authorities as needed. Weekend and holiday availability is required, with benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in security guarding is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are required.
• Reliable with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time unarmed Security Guard in our Colorado Springs, CO office and warehouse. The unarmed Security Guard will help maintain the safety and security of the In-N-Out Burger facility in Colorado Springs.

General Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and security of the Colorado Springs facility and grounds
• Understand all aspects of guard monitoring, such as operating the front gates, foot patrols, monitoring the cameras, understanding the alarm system and emergency procedures
• Serve as a receptionist/greeter in the guard shack for all visitors coming to the facility
• Screen and log in all visitors entering and exiting the complex
• Conduct routine surveillance; perform security patrols, protocol and contingency operations
• Contact law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency
• After business hours - checks doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure
• Investigate reports of suspicious activity on the property
• Provide excellent customer service; maintain friendliness and professionalism at all times
• Possess good judgment to handle day-to-day operations
• Perform all duties with pride; work well in an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation
• Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
• Work hours/shifts available are:
• Swing – 2:00 pm – 12:30 am
• Overnight – 7:30 pm – 6:00 am
• Schedule: Four (4) – 10 hour shifts per week; may include any of the above listed shifts/hours
• Weekend and holiday availability required

• Pay Range is $20.10–$22.25 per hour
• The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we will consider your experience and other job-related factors.

Qualifications

• Security guard experience; preferred
• Prior military experience and/or current or past experience as a Security guard; preferred
• Exhibit excellent customer service and hospitality skills – the Security Guard greets everyone who enters the lobby, and will be responsible for welcoming our guests and visitors with the kindness and friendliness befitting of In-N-Out Burger
• Possess strong communication skills
• Must be reliable and able to work without constant direct supervision
• High school diploma or GED; required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to patrol the property and access areas quickly
• Physically able to capture and detain individuals if necessary
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and monitoring surveillance equipment
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time
