Position Details:

Service Contract Act (SCA) Position

Hourly Rate: $17.20

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Report to the Safety, Security and Transportation Manager; hourly, non-exempt position.
2. Enforce all laws, rules, and policies authorized by the Safety and Security Department.
3. Perform alarm and patrol duties to protect life and property against theft, vandalism, fire, floods, suspicious acts, and other conditions.
4. Provide vehicle transportation support under supervisor guidance, complying with all directives.
5. Aid and assist visitors, students, and staff.
6. Conduct building security and safety checks.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, or related duties.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record preferred.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.
• Must pass a drug screening per policy.

Additional Requirements:

Knowledge of riot and crowd control, law enforcement procedures, CPR/FA certification, ability to obtain a bus license, strong communication skills, and ability to operate office equipment and drive a vehicle. Must interact well with team members and staff.
