Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time X Ray Screening at a Packaging Facility in Hamilton Township, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, monitor access activity, and support screening procedures. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and following established access-control procedures.
• Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, coordinate gate access for authorized deliveries and pickups, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
