Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed TWIC in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and teamwork.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials, and maintain accurate security-related logs and incident reports.
• Communicate observed hazards, equipment issues, policy violations, and emergency conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
