As a Security Guard Full Time Screening Officer in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Screener at a financial institution location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by screening individuals and items, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter incidents while supporting exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, access policies, and security‑related protocols at a healthcare location.
• Screen individuals entering designated areas, verify authorization as required, and direct patients and visitors to appropriate entrances, departments, or waiting areas.
• Observe and report unusual activity, prohibited items, access concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner while following site‑specific emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate screening‑related logs, incident reports, and visitor records in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
