Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Age requirements: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals entering designated areas using access-control procedures and screening equipment.
• Monitor entry points, verify authorization, and report suspicious activity and access concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and surrounding perimeter, noting variations by location.

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeMon04:30 AM - 12:30 PMFri04:45 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Screen individuals entering designated areas using established access-control procedures and approved screening equipment, as applicable.
• Monitor entry points, verify authorization when required, and report suspicious activity, prohibited items, and/or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the surrounding perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
