Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures and emergency responses.
• Screen individuals, packages, and vehicles entering designated areas according to access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documentation, and authorization prior to entry into restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and promptly report concerns to site management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, facility entry points, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Guard Full Time Property Screening in Zionsville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will use X-ray screening equipment to inspect packages and materials, monitor assigned areas, and help maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible to help deter incidents, communicate professionally with team members and visitors, and deliver outstanding service. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documentation, and authorization prior to permitting entry to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns to site management and/or appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned loading areas, parking areas, facility entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
