Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation-related location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior areas, exterior grounds, entry points, loading areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized entry, theft, and other security-related concerns.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Asset Protection Patrol in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for travelers, visitors, and staff while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
