Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials and directing visitors/contractors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and critical situations per site protocols and notify appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear patrol and incident reports detailing observed conditions.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the chemical and petrochemical location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and maintaining required entry documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, access activity, and observed conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
