Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Guard Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Wilmington, DE. You'll serve clients across industries, conduct patrols, manage access, and respond to incidents.

A valid driver’s license is required, with 1+ year security experience, a high school diploma, and background/drug screening as per policy. Shifts include Mon–Sun with varied hours to cover patrols and access control.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the chemical and petrochemical location by verifying credentials, directing visitors and contractors, and maintaining required entry documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site‑specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, access activity, and observed conditions.

As a Security Guard Full Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Pay Rate: $18.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
