Job summary

Allied Universal in Vance, AL is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Credentialing to monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a welcoming environment for employees and guests.

You will perform access control, badge checks, visitor logging, and patrols across an automotive facility, while upholding safety and site procedures. This role requires reliability and customer service focus.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive facility.
• Control access to the location by verifying identification, reviewing credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle gates, and access control systems; report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, production-related areas, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns.

• Wed 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
• Thur 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM
