Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Visitor Intake in Vance, AL. This part-time role focuses on welcoming visitors, screening credentials, and maintaining a secure access process for an automotive manufacturing or corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures and policies.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or materials entering designated areas and report prohibited items or access concerns.
• Verify credentials, maintain entry screening logs, and direct authorized visitors and vendors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and escalate concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas, access points, and parking areas; conditions may vary by location.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive manufacturing or corporate location.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or materials entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures; report prohibited items, irregularities, and access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Verify credentials, maintain entry screening logs, and direct authorized visitors and vendors according to established access-control requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
