Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access-control procedures and security policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, issue passes, and maintain entry/exit records.
• Screen personnel, vehicles, and deliveries according to location requirements and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, areas, and perimeter to identify security concerns.

As a Security Guard Full Time Credential Validation Driver in North Chesterfield, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will manage visitor and employee entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a welcoming, orderly environment. You will help deter incidents through a visible presence, clear communication, and attentive customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, issue visitor and contractor passes, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
• Screen incoming personnel, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with chemical and petrochemical location requirements and access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to identify and report security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
