Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Badge Screening in Newark, NJ. The role involves protecting client sites, monitoring access, and responding to incidents with professional customer service at a logistics and distribution location.

You will work a rotating night schedule, perform unarmed patrols, and uphold site policies while contributing to a safe, service-oriented environment across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and observe the movement of people and vehicles at the facility in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, loading areas, and other designated locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and following established reporting procedures.
• Document daily activities, patrols, incidents, and unusual conditions accurately and promptly.

As a Security Guard Full Time Badge Screening in Newark, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
