Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Access Authorization in Boynton Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will help manage entry points, verify visitors and credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding service to residents and guests. You will maintain a professional presence, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, manage visitor and vendor sign-in procedures, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and access-related issues to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership in accordance with reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Possess a guard card or license is required.
• Possess customer service experience, preferred.
• Possess access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
