Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard for a full-time, first-shift role in Racine, WI. As an unarmed patrol officer at a retail/mall location, you will perform routine patrols, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a welcoming environment for guests, tenants, and staff.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, or damage to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:
