Qualifications

As a Security Guard - Full Time in Rockford, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor and control access to facilities, including verifying credentials, managing visitor check-in procedures, issuing access badges, and documenting entries and exits in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Monitor access-control systems, cameras, and other security-related equipment; report equipment issues, unusual activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, interior areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
