Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer is Full Time Unarmed Patrol Compliance in Lockport, IL. You will monitor, patrol, and protect client sites while delivering exceptional customer service to employees and visitors.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology-focused location, you will uphold site policies, report incidents, and coordinate with responders as needed.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Compliance in Lockport, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to site needs. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining accurate logs and completing required incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding observations, operational concerns, and policy-related updates.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
