Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced at a Bishop, TX site. You will work fixed anchor shifts with additional shifts available through theEarn More, Claim-A-Shift program, providing reliable hours and opportunities to increase earnings while supporting client sites.

Qualifications

• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as per law.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors at the site.
• Monitor entry and exit points and verify credentials and visitor passes.
• Respond to access-related incidents and alarms in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points and perimeter.
• Document incidents and policy violations and communicate with site leadership.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Visitor Screening in Bishop, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $11.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site‑specific access‑control procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access‑related records in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to access‑related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, common areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while documenting incidents, observations, and policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
