Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Allied Universal may conduct a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service at the front desk of a financial institution by following site procedures and access protocols.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain logs.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, cameras, alarms, and other security systems; report unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and urgent situations calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel or emergency responders.
• Support a professional front-desk environment by answering phones, giving directions, and communicating with leadership and client representatives.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Visitor Appointment Coordinator in Richardson, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.38 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk of a financial institution by following site‑specific procedures and access protocols.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, cameras, alarms, and other security‑related systems; report unusual activity or concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Support a professional front‑desk environment by answering phones, providing directions, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
