Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Enhanced (Unarmed) in Galveston, TX. The role offers fixed shifts with anchor commitments and opportunities to earn more via additional shifts through the scheduling platform.

Formación

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate hotel personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, building perimeters, and other assigned hotel property to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe for unusual activity or hazards, and report security‑related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, while providing a courteous, welcoming presence in a hospitality‑focused environment.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Galveston, TX, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 11:59 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat: 11:59 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 11:59 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
