Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA seeks a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced to provide reliable, friendly front-desk service, greet visitors, verify access, and help maintain a safe, professional environment at a financial institution site.

This fixed-Shift Anchor role pays $19.64 per hour with a Sunday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM schedule. Earn more by claiming additional shifts through our scheduling platform, with training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, verify access credentials, and direct guests per site procedures at a financial institution.
• Monitor front desk, manage visitor sign-in, and communicate activity to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents and alarms with calm, professional handling per emergency protocols.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Reception Systems Operator in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, verifying access credentials, and directing guests in accordance with site-specific security-related procedures at a financial institution location.
• Monitor the front desk area, manage visitor sign-in processes, maintain accurate access records, and communicate visitor activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Support access control operations by issuing visitor credentials, receiving deliveries, and helping to deter unauthorized entry through attentive front desk presence.
• Communicate clearly with employees, visitors, management, and emergency responders regarding security-related concerns and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
