Allied Universal in Nashville, TN is seeking a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Mobile Patrol Driver to provide reliable security coverage at a healthcare facility. This role offers flexible, anchored daytime shifts and an opportunity to earn additional hours.

You will perform access control, patrols, and incident response while delivering professional customer service to patients, visitors and staff. A valid driver’s license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license in the state of employment.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while enforcing security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly and promptly.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Mobile Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Assist with access control, visitor screening, and directions while maintaining a professional presence in patient care areas and public spaces.
• Document observations, incidents, and interactions accurately and promptly in accordance with location-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
