Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Driver in Nashville, TN. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and optional additional shifts to boost earnings.

Expect part-time hours with the potential to scale up to around 40 hours per week and a starting pay of $20.60 per hour. Responsibilities include patient, visitor, and staff security, incident response, patrols, access monitoring, and accurate reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• A drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access concerns, visitor issues, and requests for support.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, or security-related incidents according to site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
