Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen visitors, personal property, and authorized items in accordance with established access-control procedures and applicable government facility requirements.
• Verify identification, maintain visitor records, issue credentials as authorized, and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly reporting concerns to designated personnel.
• Monitor entry points and surrounding areas for unusual activity, prohibited items, and/or unauthorized access, helping to deter disruptions at the location.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Judicial Screening in West Palm Beach, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.85 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Thur 07:00 AM - 01:00 PM
Fri 07:00 AM - 01:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security‑related experience or a college degree.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X‑ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
