Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Subject to background investigation as per laws.
• Background history considered per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required per local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when required.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Pay Rate: $16.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
