Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial properties to identify unusual activity or safety concerns.
• Monitor and report security incidents, maintenance issues, access problems, and suspicious activities promptly.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures, contacting emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and patrol logs as required by Allied Universal and site requirements.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Hagerstown, MD, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or property concerns.
• Monitor and report security-related incidents, maintenance concerns, access issues, and suspicious activity to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and contacting emergency responders when needed.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
